A great place to sit, relax and watch the world go by or enjoy a picnic, drink or takeaway. Along the beach is a sandy area with soft sand perfect for digging and sandcastles.

PLEASE NOTE - Beach hut is for daytime use only. Rental period : Saturday morning to Friday evening.

Our beach hut has the number 30 above the green door and is situated on Marine Parade on the main 'Front' beach, just below the National Trust shop and Beach and Badger cafe.

On the level with no steps between either car parks. Perfect for families

Items for use in the Beach hut

Our hut has four folding director chairs and various camping chairs for setting up outside and spilling over onto the beach, plus a storage cupboard, folding side table, wind-break and buckets and spades.

Day use only, no overnight stays allowed. Please note mobile phone reception can be patchy.

Dogs are allowed in the beach hut but cannot be left alone or locked inside the hut. During the summer (approx. May - September) dogs are not allowed on the main beach but can be walked on Monmouth (west) and Church Cliff (east) beaches.

Due to fire risk we do not provide any cooking facilities in the hut.

We do not charge a cleaning fee, so please shake out the mat and brush out the sand using brushes provided to leave the hut clean and tidy; please remove all rubbish. The hut is not checked at the end of each stay and therefore we cannot be held responsible for any accidents incurred from using the items provided or items missing. Any flotation devices left behind in the hut should be used with caution.
