Felixstowe Pier itself is currently undergoing an exciting renovation and there are lots of new restaurants and food options just a few steps behind on sea road. This includes The Regal Fish Bar which is renowned as one of the best chips shops in the county. With lots of amusements, rides (yep even water orbs), there is lots to do if you feel like you need a break from the beach at any point too.

The promenade at night is light up with gorgeous colourful lights and if you happen to book on a Saturday there is a great boot sale on Saturday and Sundays just 100 yards from the hut.

We have thought carefully about the layout of Abbie, who is slightly smaller that than our other beach huts but this far from detracts from her usage. with seated storage and build in fold down tables, she is perfect for couples, individuals seeking time out, a group of friends or families with children.

Whether you plan to spend the full day on the beach or take a bit of time out to explore Felixstowe, this is one hut that is perfectly located to do so.

We just love how central Abbie is on a small row of beach huts (one row) just a stones throw from all the main gardens, amusements and extra activities that Felixstowe offers!

Note the car park’s postcode just behind is IP11 2DH and may help for those sat nav users!

With the only step to the hut being the one into the huts, Abbie is our most ‘mobility’ friendly beach hut as wheelchair users can access the promenade directly from the car park immediately behind or street parking with no steps in place across the full promenade.

Where are the nearest facilities?

You can find baby changing and toilets just 6 huts away- just 40 yards away.

If you are facing towards the sea, just turn left and you can't miss the large brown building (Beach Station Road public toilets).

In each Beach Hut, you will find a plastic water container which can be used to fill up and provide you with water during your stay. The tap itself is located just by the car park/toilet building.

As above, do remember that if you are booked between 1st October and 1 April, you will need to bring your own bottled water (taps are removed to avoid freezing).
