A lovely, well equipped, front row beach hut on Tankerton's award winning Blue Flag Beach. Approximate postcode; CT5 2LQ The beach hut is down the slope, on the front row near the Tankerton Sailing Club
There are steps leading to the hut making wheelchair access very difficult. Children need to be supervised at all times.
Items for use in the Beach hut This well-equipped beach hut contains a fold-down table and worktop,8 chairs , a large round wooden table, two small fold-up wooden tables, a two-ring gas stove, kettle, saucepans, frying pan, cutlery, mugs, plastic tumblers and wine glasses, melamine crockery, washing up bowl and tea towels. Buckets and spades, plastic bat and ball games are also provided.
Canterbury City Council has recently changed the rules regarding letting huts. As a result a MAXIMUM of 8 people (including children are allowed to use the huts, NO RADIOS OR AMPLIFIED MUSIC can be played in the hut or on the promenade or beach..
