One Six Nine is located on the sea side of the spit just along from the Beach House Cafe and shop. It is few minutes walk from the ferry pier.

On one side, the hut looks out to the sea and the Isle of Wight. The back door opens on to a lovely stretch of sand, perfect for building sand castles or relaxing in the sun. Beyond another row of huts is Christchurch Harbour.

One Six Nine has solar panel powered lighting, fridge and phone charger. There is a gas oven and hob. Double doors open out on to the beach at the front. A sofa bed folds out for two adults to sleep. There are two bunk beds, the lower one doubling up as a day bed.

The hut has its own beach picnic table and barbecue. There are deck chairs and beach toys available.

One Six Nine sleeps four and is ideal for a couples or a small family but sorry, no pets.

As you get off the Ferry, the Beach House Cafe is to your left. Walk past this and at the tap, cut through to the sea side and you will find 169. It is the Cedar hut. You can also park at Hengistbury Head and hire a Landrover to take you down, but this needs to be booked in advance.

It is on the beach, so sandy at the back. There is a step up to the front doors.

Items for use in the Beach hut

The hut is equipped with a full range of crockery and cooking equipment. There is a BBQ and picnic bench for al fresco eating.
There is a wind break and several outdoor chairs.

We can provide duvet covers, sheets and towels at a small extra cost or bring your own.

There is a range of beach toys for your use.
